Our Story

From Mill to Movement

What began as a wish to save a historic Victorian rope mill from ruin has grown into a community movement rooted in heritage, creativity, and connection.

Jelleyman’s Heritage Arts Charity brings new life to a unique riverside industrial site in the heart of Kidderminster. Once part of the town’s proud carpet manufacturing story, the site is now a volunteer led community hub where people come together to learn, create, and support one another.

We help local people reconnect with their heritage, discover their potential, and build a sense of belonging. Through affordable and free activities, workshops, events, and shared spaces, we make opportunities accessible to all. We also aim to support start ups and new ideas by offering space and mentoring across generations.

Our goal is simple. To strengthen community, inspire creativity, and help Kidderminster thrive, together.
